I am so disappointed that I was too sick to post, I came down with a nasty cold and just now starting to recover. I wanted to do a tribute post to Dr. Martin Luther King, if you check out my collage of Inspiration page you will find that I admire him, the work he did and the imprint of change he set in motion. I remember when I was a kid, PBS would always broadcast his story; I looked forward to it although, I seen it year-after-year. Looking, to re-live his memory, I searched the television guide (seeing that I was confined to the bed) in search of programs that will commemorate his life and legacy and to my findings at the time I searched, there was none. Maybe, they all came on while I was in my comatose state (that’s what I choose to believe). Nevertheless, I guess I’ll have to wait until Black History Month to post a piece that I wrote about him. I found that his life parallel the life of Moses. I guess I will make that the 1st post of February. Until then…. I praise God for the life Dr. King lived and the purpose he was set in the earth to accomplish. Dr. King, thank you for being a “Change Agent”! Thank you for your stance and your passion, because I now live in “Your Dream”. Although, there’s a great work still to be done. I believe we have made great stride.
Honoring Your Legacy…………….
A benefactor of your life,
Danietra
