I was half asleep watching Eat Pray Love and she made a statement that captured my intention and ignited my mind to churn with ideas. She stated two words that stood out above the rest of her rambling: Ruin and Transformation. Now thinking on the two phrases the passage about beauty for ashes comes to mind, can it be that ruin can be a beautiful agent of change and transformation. We often see ruin as devastating, chaotic, and unnerving and the list can go on and on but, what if we change our perspective about ruin and see it as a diamond in the ruff.

Can you see the coal(s) in your life potential? Can it be that block of coal end state is a shinning piece of bling. Looking at it in raw form, it looks just like a lump of coal, but the potential of it can be exquisite. The price of it ranges; the more clarity, greater the process. Life is filtered with many peaks and valleys. They both serve purposes; the peaks are the celebration of victories and valleys transitions, you into the next season that the process can start over again. You need both so that the coals of your life will go through the process of becoming that beautiful diamond in the end.
