Mission Statement: The best mission statement that I believe will solidify what Fresh Perspective is about would best be describe by the Prophet Isaiah as told in the book of Isaiah 61: 1-4
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the ooil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generation.
Where my passion stems from:
God gave me a promise. Then after the promise was spoken…adversity showed up, the breaking began, the transformation of identity began to emerge. Then the conformity to the likeness of Christ began to shape, as I surrendered, by exchanging my ways, desires and ultimately my will, for his. Have the process been easy…No!!! Did I always understand…No!!! Did I like it…No…NO…No!!! Did it have to be DONE? YES!!!
The lasting effects will be very beneficial. But I am a firm believer of “You never go through, Solely… for yourself, but you go through tests to birth a testimony to share with others.”
Because: We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of our testimonies.
It is my goal to take the lesson learned and share the revelation and information that was birthed as a result of the…Process!!!
