Salvation

They that call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

Salvation is the free gift of God, given to all who will receive. Salvation is not just a ticket to escape hell, but it has many benefits. You may need to see God’s salvation in the area of your: body, marriage, finance, freedom from addiction or bondage. Salvation consist of everything Jesus purchased on the cross at Calvary. Everything covered in Isaiah 53 is obtained through salvation. Therefore, as you confess with your mouth and believed in your heart to receive Jesus, into your life as your personal Lord and Savior; you will have to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart for salvation to come to any area of need.

When is the day of salvation? Today, is the day of SALVATION!

Just to make it practical here are a few examples:

Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for salvation; I receive the finished work of Christ. Therefore, I receive salvation in the area of my health. Your word declare that you were wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities and the chastisement of my peace was upon you and with your stripes I am healed. I confess with my mouth and I believe in my heart that I am healed therefore, my mind and body agree with your truth and it manifest as evidence in my life. Thank you, that you are the Lord God that healeth. Thank you, for a cheerful mind that worketh all healings, and a merry heart doeth good like medicine. Be it unto me according to your word.

In Jesus name, I pray……Amen!

Father,

Thank you, that you have given me everything pertaining to life and godliness. Therefore, thank you, that you daily load me with benefits, thank you, that wealth and riches are in my house. Thank you, that the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and adds no sorrow with it. Thank you, for supplying all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Thank you, that your word declares that you will make all grace abound towards me in every good work. Thank you, that your Word is sure and because I have given, you  will give unto me pressed down shaken together and running over that man shall given unto my bosom. Thank you, because I have honored your principles of giving you have rebuked the devourer for my sake.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Father,

In the name of Jesus, thank you for the truth of your word that declares for me and my house we will serve the Lord, therefore, I call forth my unsaved love ones out of darkness that they may be translated into the kingdom of your Dear SON, thank you that you have called them from afar. No one can come to you accept you draw that, now Father woo them with your loving kindness, give them encounter with you as you did with the woman at the well,  as you did when you visited Saul on the road of Damascus, or when you called (by setting up his encounter with Philip) Nathanael. Encounters with you that can not be refuted, but bring about conversion. Thank you, that you have came to seek and save the lost, and my love one is in that number.

Thank you Lord, for salvation coming to my household, my family, my love ones and friends.

In Jesus name.

Amen

These are just a few examples to get you rolling.

Before there was twitter

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
And he saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Matthew 4:18-19

The concept of twitter is not new; which bear to the testament that there is nothing new under the sun. The concept originated with Jesus. Jesus was the first one to say, “Follow Me”. This is the whole mission of the gospel. Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee and seen the two brothers, which by trade were fishers. Jesus requested that they follow him and that he would use their skill set of catching fishes and use it to become fisher of men. These were not the only fishermen Jesus collected before venturing out to call a tax collector and many others to complete His team of twelve.
Jesus was not seeking followers just to have an entourage or see how many followers he can garner, or use it as a statistical report to rate his popularity but, rather he had a mission and a purpose. However, what Jesus and some twitters have in common is: PROMOTION.
Jesus was promoting salvation, healing, deliverance, and wholeness.
Jesus was seeking followers that he may disciple them, through teaching and by walking with them; they had on the job training. The job training was setting them up to fulfill the commission. The commission was for them to go out and duplicate what He had taught and shown them during training, there mission was to spread the gospel, lay hands on the sick, and cast out demons.

The purpose of the disciples following Jesus was that they may follow-to-lead. Come to think of it follow the leader is ancient too. They were called to follow Jesus and in return commissioned to lead people back to the one whom they followed.
Which was/is the commission then and now, we as believers is called to follow, promote and lead people back to Jesus. There is no other purpose for the gospel. We are modern day disciple who has been given the same task as the original team. Their commission is our commission. They had the Word in flesh; we have the written Word and His indwelling Spirit.

After His Resurrection and before ascending to heaven until His second coming, He departed leaving His disciples (through out all generations) with these final saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:18-20

My Pastor has this saying, “The last thing God asked us to do. Will be the first thing he’ll require of you”; whenever he is referencing this scripture verse. Jesus departing words was that we witness. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
Like the woman at the well who encountered Jesus, dropped her water pot and went into the city and said, “Come and see a man who told me all things that I ever did…”
John 4:28-30
She had been redeemed and she was saying so. Due to her witness many came to see the man Jesus, she had spoke of. They went on her account but when they got there they seen and heard. Then they testimony was “…. now we believe, not because of thy sayings; for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.” John 4:42

The Power of your testimony!

Just think about how many people would come to Jesus on the account of your witness and then get a first hand encounter; that they too may say what the men of Samaria declared.

Background
I am amazed as to how God talks. He brought this idea to mind with a question while I was on my way to sleep. He said, “you know the concept of twitter started with me, right’? Then I responded with well before anything was created you were, then He said, I was the first to say, “Follow me” when I called the disciples; and referred me to the above scripture. I leaped out of bed to grab my bible and began to read.
Then I began to ponder on the various ways that the platform is being utilized.

How are you following? Are you following to lead?
If you have a twitter account what are some of the ways or how are you leading your followers to Jesus?

I AM On Full

As I have been going about this week, I have had this keen sense of awareness of the Presence of God, my heart is full, I guess just the atmosphere of the cross emanating love, liberty and wholeness conjures up songs in my spirit to bring my time of reflection alive, birthing admiration and appreciation for the “PRICE” that has been paid. I was washing dishes and Chris Tomlin’s, Jesus Messiah began to play in my head and the first verse is so potent that it provoked me to worship. The lyrics states, “He became sin who knew no sin that we might become His righteousness.” I mourn for what He (Jesus) had to endure; for He was a man without sin, but to think that for me He became sin. To exchange His life for mines, calls to mind that the life I live have value. My heart overflows, with gratitude.

Lord, I thank….You. Thank You, that you were obedient even to the point of death, to demonstrate the Love of God for man.
You came that we might have life and in you there is life.
In you there is freedom
In you there is Peace
In You there is Joy
In You there is Deliverance
In You there is Redemption
In You there is…….Salvation
Thank You for the price you paid.
Thank You for the life you gave.
Thank You that you raised with all power in your hands
and you looked at man and said,” The Power Invested In Me; I give unto thee.”

May we live in the fellowship of your suffering but may we reflect your Resurrection Power.

May we live in obedience?

May we share the free gift?

May yourMISSIONthat none will be lost, be the purpose of every believer’sheart?

May man see their need of a Savior, may they humble themselves in reverence and acceptance.

May the John the Baptist of this day arise and cry as a voice in the Wilderness….Repent; Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

May there be urgency in the land to do the work of an evangelist; spreading the Good News that you gives life from the dead.

May man forsake their wicked ways and may the saints not take for granted your grace.

May our hearts live in a continual state of Rememberance
